Business Update: Salts Healthcare acquires MCare AB
On the 01st June 2023, Ostomy Manufacturer Salts Healthcare, acquired MCare AB in Sweden. The acquisition of MCare fits into Salts Healthcare’s vital few to increase its global outreach as well its strategy of Caring, Listening and Innovating to improve lives.
Chief Executive of Salts Healthcare Peter Salt said “We are very pleased to welcome M Care into the Salts Healthcare family. We have worked closely with M Care and know they also share the same values and ethics. We look forward to a successful partnership which will be to the benefit of the business and our customers.”
Maud Jägerman, previous Managing Director of MCare AB built a fantastic business which has grown from strength to strength over the past 20 years. Maud created the business herself based in Lund, Sweden and now employs a team of 5 people. Maud has built an excellent working relationship across all stoma care networks within Scandinavia, ensuring patient care is within the fabric of the business.
Maud Jägerman said “Being a Registered Nurse, it has been a pure pleasure to build a business that actually helps people, makes their lives more secure and often more comfortable too. Over the past 20 years, the products manufactured by Salts Healthcare have been constantly improved thanks to thorough research, listening to users and innovative thinking.
