See below for some of our favourite ideas:

1. Easter Bunny Masks!

How cute are these Easter bunny masks! Great fun and easy to make.

For this you will need:

  • Paper plates
  • Scissors
  • Pink construction paper
  • Glue
  • Pink or white pipe cleaners
  • Yarn
  • Hole punch (or just use wooden craft sticks)

Directions:

1. Hold the plate against your child's face and mark where the eyes and nose holes should be.

2. Cut out the holes for the eyes and nose and draw in the rest of the bunny's face.

3. Use pipe cleaners for whiskers.

4. Cut out bunny ears from pink construction paper and glue to the plate.

5. Punch a hole on each side of the plate, and attach two pieces of yarn on both sides to tie the mask onto your little bunny's head.

2. Easter chocolate pots with pick ‘n’ mix toppings

These Easter chocolate pots are the perfect Easter treat for your little ones and can be made so quickly!

Ingredients:

  • 500g fresh custard
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
  • 100g crème fraîche
  • Mixture of crushed chocolate mini eggs, chopped toasted hazelnuts and sprinkles, to serve

Method:

1. Heat the custard with the cinnamon in a saucepan until just simmering. Remove from the heat, add the chocolate, stir until melted, and then fold in the crème fraîche.

2. Divide the mixture between six ramekins or teacups, or tip into one large dish. Transfer to the fridge to chill for 2-3 hrs, or until set. Put the mini eggs, hazelnuts and sprinkles in separate small bowls and serve with the chocolate pots for everyone to top as they like.

3. Easter word search

This Easter word search is perfect for keeping the kids busy! There are lots of different word puzzles out there available to download and print!

4. Virtual egg hunt

Social restrictions do not mean you can’t have the exciting egg hunts you traditionally host every year – do it virtually!

Get all of the family on a platform like Zoom or Skype and it can be just as fun.

A few things to consider:

  • Set a time for the hunt and ensure there are no internet issues before you start
  • Let all participants give clues to the children to make it more interactive
  • Personalise eggs to friends and family members
  • Have fun!
