Salts Healthcare is a Disability Confident Employer
Here at Salts Healthcare we are committed to changing behaviour and attitudes towards disability. We have embarked upon a scheme which we hope to progress through and achieve the highest level of Disability Confident Employers. Disability Confident is a government scheme which encourages businesses to make the most of opportunities provided by employing disabled people. It has been developed by employers and disabled people’s representatives – and is completely voluntary.
The Disability Confident scheme has 3 levels, at which employers must be able to demonstrate the ways in which they achieve the specific criteria in order to achieve that level. Salts Healthcare has been awarded the first level: Disability Confident Committed, which demonstrates that we are committed to playing a role in changing behaviour and attitudes for the better, as well as increasing our understanding of disability. It also allows companies to draw from the widest pool of talent during recruitment, and to secure high-quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hard working.
