Taking care of your patients‘ well-being after surgery

Many of your patients may experience psychological difficulties related to adjusting to their diagnosis, living with symptoms, the impact on their social role and functioning, or managing side effects.1 Living with a temporary or permanent stoma can lead to a variety of physical and psychological challenges and poses a unique challenge to the patients which affects their quality of life (QoL).2 This can include altered body image, anxiety depression and negative emotions, and sleep disturbances.

Salts healthcare focus on 5 key pillars of well-being which we believe are essential for a happy and healthy life.
